We present to you Sunny, a superb 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding, measuring 1.75m, combining power, comfort and elegance.

Beneath his handsome appearance as a modern horse lies a generous, curious and deeply kind partner, who has already proven his reliability in the dressage arena. Coming from renowned German bloodlines, Sunny inherits the strength and frame of Santander H (Sandro x Contender), combined with the suppleness and quality of his maternal line through Maraschino.

A well-balanced cross, resulting in an expressive horse with impulsion and excellent work intelligence. Experienced and skilled, Sunny primarily works in dressage, possessing a very good technical foundation and a serious attitude under saddle. He has mastered the Amateur 1 movements. He is currently working towards Amateur Elite (A9/A10) level work, having already competed once, placing 3rd in the Amateur 2 South Dressage Tour last year.

Hardly used this season (owner on maternity leave), but perfectly maintained and available for the resumption of the circuit.

He has three good natural gaits:

Pitch: ample and regular

Trot: supple and expressive

Canter: balanced, rising, pleasant to work

Although primarily trained for dressage, Sunny also jumps: he has been worked up to 1.10m at home (with a half-board arrangement), demonstrating a beautiful jumping ability.

He goes outside alone or accompanied, and has even already been ridden in a halter and rope. He is a pleasant horse, close to man and very curious, always willing to work.

However, he can be emotional with a rider who lacks confidence: he never makes dangerous gestures, but can be a little watchful or turn around as a reaction.

Therefore, it will be better suited to a calm and composed rider who likes sensitive and expressive horses.

Sunny is gentle with care (even if he's a bit restless from impatience) - Easy to transport (van, car, truck) - Good with clipping, farrier, osteopath, and dentist. Used to being stabled and living in a field

The only point to note: he can be a little dependent on another horse when travelling with someone, but remains calm and focused when travelling alone.
